You have a point, it is 640. 480 was the long resolution from the pre-retina-display models.

I ended up buying the SGS3 instead. Android just seems much less restrictive than iOS - not into the "total control" thing Apple seems to be portraying.

now go root it and enter a whole new world (of course after you accept the risks of rooting).
