I'm torn between the 2. I'm due for an upgrade but indecisive about which to choose. Help me out.

Go for the iPhone 5.

I heard that the maps on i5 are terrible... (Opinion: I hate Apple (As a company though, I do love the fruit ))

Everyone has his own opinion about Apple. I personally like Apple, their products are gorgeous! ( especially the Macs )

btw: the OS of the iPhone is called iOS

Here in France Apple Stores' staff was on strike the day they launched the iPhone 5

Get the Galaxy S3, much better and not overhyped as shit

Well, maybe... but the new iPhone is imo better than the Galaxy S3. The quality is better

But there's nothing different.
Seriously, bigger screens have been around for years, some phones already support LTE (iPhone5's LTE can't be used in Europe on 800mhz Frequences which most ISPs use).

I dunno what's so innovative about the iPhone 5, even the iPhone 4 with Siri was more innovative.
