It'd probably be overkill in a lot of cases, were it actually supported. Unless you wanted every game with 4x IR (or higher), max AA, Per-Pixel Lighting, a single GPU is sufficient for Dolphin.
I don't think that SLI is needed really, because by the time the support would be added (which would and should be after compatibility is made better) there will probably be cards that can do that kind of thing on its own.
Yeah, for a normal human being no matter how much you fuss on quality 4x IR should be enough for you
Not with all the horrible aliasing everywhere.
That depends on how good your eyes are and how far away from the screen you sit. You, NV, have very good eyes, so you need higher levels of AA in order to not see Jaggies. My eyes suck, so when I sit on my couch I can't tell the difference between 2x, 3x, and 4x IR on my 1080p TV if I tried.
Haha same here. Without glasses I'm lucky if I can even tell what is on the TV.
Well, mine isnt that bad actually \o_o/
Yeah I have a -5 in both eyes plus a -1 for astigmatism, so a -6 overall (that is how we refer to it anyway).
I think I'm 20/12 if I recall. I remember when they were doing the vision test they weren't able to find a slide with text small enough where I wasn't able to read it. They went at least two or three levels past 20/20 and I was still able to read it. They said they were out of slides and just told me "your vision is better than 20/20". Then again this was probably 10 years ago.
