Recently, I installed Dolphin and have been trying to play Windwaker, I keep getting an error that says
"The Memory Card in Slot A is corrupted and needs to be formatted. Would you like to format it now?"
I press "yes" and it responds with,
"The Memory Card in Slot A cannot be used with this game."
Is this a common problem? And how do I fix it? I tried playing other games, such as Pokemon XD Gale and other GC games I can't remember

Look in Config > GC. What is in Memory Card A?
Another thing you can do is just download Dolphin 3.0 (again?) and start fresh, which can usually solve the problem.

I just re downloaded it and tried before posting the thread.
In Memory Slot A it says "Memory Card" and when i click the "..." it has two files, one says "SRAM" and the other is SRAM.USA"
*facepalm* you don't load the SRAM >.>

I wasn't it was what was in the default folder, do I delete them from that folder?
None of your games can format the card correctly?
I feel like a dumbass now, I was pressing z(default key binding for B) when I should've pressed X(key binding for A) which allows me to play the game, but it says I won't be able to save. Will I be able to save?
No. You'll just be able to play without saving your progress.

How do I fix that?
Delete Config/Dolphin.ini, then, without touching the memcard settings, start the game and let it format the card.
