If one was worried about their GPU being too weak, couldn't they run at 0.375x IR to help reduce the GPU load?

In other news, I've (temporarily) put a Phenom II x4 920 (2.8GHz, c2 stepping) in my PC for a week or so while diagnosing an issue with the friend's PC said Phenom II came from. However, it looks like there's plenty of Phenom II results already, so I'm assuming there isn't much more I could do that would be useful?
Welcome back.

And no, not really. But it certainly can't hurt.
But it could hurt the amount of spare time I have left in an individual day. Tongue

here is another AMD CPU's results to add to the list.

AMD Phenom 2 x6 1100t @ 4.1 Ghz
AMD 7850 2 gig
(FPS/VPS/speed)
First section:61/121/201
Second: 47/95/158
Third: 70/141/235

My experience with this processor and dolphin has been great. It handles everything i throw at it, except for the absolute ridiculous games like mario galaxy 2 and star fox adventures cut scenes, even twilight princess and Mario Kart WII play 100%. This is of course only with this overclock.

There is only one thing i want to know...
Is there ANY CPU that can handle Bowser's championship hole 17 match play in Mario Golf Toadstool Tour?
or am i just stupid cause my fps get down to around 15. It's hard to believe there is a processor 4 times better than this one.

Which one?
I delidded my CPU, so now I can overclock it more because of 25C+ drops in temperatures. Instead of hitting a thermal limit now, I can't get an OC above 4.7 without bumping the voltage way up, and my CPU's not that great to start off with. I keep getting a Clock_Watchdog_Timeout when starting Dolphin if I go above 4.7 GHz.

Custom Build
OS: Windows 8 Pro x64
CPU: Intel Core-i7 4770K @ 4.7GHz
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 660 2GB DirectCU II OC
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR3-1600

FPS/VPS/Speed
1: 120/242/403%
2: 94/188/313%
3: 139/279/465%

Screenshots in spoiler.

I'll post the benchmark of my old and cranky desktop later... It's armed with a Core 2 Duo processor along with a crappy GPU.
EDIT: I'm using the x64 version and the game is NTSC version.
Thanks for the contributions guys. I'll be updating the chart later today.
