Oh god not an AMD vs Intel thread again.
Just compare my scores to the stock AMD 8350 from the user Raydonn, and compare the scores to other intels, that's the more interesting part. And it's empirical. The last thing we need is another 10 pages of AMD vs Intel. lol
I saved 40$ on the AMD vs the i5 3570k, and used the money to buy an SSD, which gave me great improvements from my old HDD rig. I'm happy about the performance on gaming, anime, programs such as winrar/cad/after effects. It's all I bought it for, mission accomplished ^_^. Next rig I'll get an intel chip, but intel then I'm enjoying what I have a lot, and you can't argue that lol
And in case that doesn't stop the AMD vs Intel thing, even I think an Intel is better for gaming and emulation when overclocked. Even at the price. 40$ isn't too much to pay for that upgrade. But I don't have a job, I was literally looking for coins under the couch xD

Edit: Just checked your scores NaturalViolence, your i5 3570k OC beat my scores by about 7fps avg.

He already knows that the Intel scores are better. Your comment was unnecessary.

It wasn't overclocked. That's stock with turboboost.
And that's with half the power consumption of your cpu. Look at the OCed haswell results, that's what Intel is currently offering. It's insane.
