Phew. Charts have been updated. I've taken the time to note each postid to the result so we can find it back easily.
I've also taken the liberty to put the spreadsheet on Google Drive which you can find
here.
Nice! Added to the first post.
Wonderful. Lots of delicious data for me to analyze. Keep em comin folks.
@Garteal: Nice, seems like you put quite some effort into it.
It's interesting to see that the AMD FX 8150 generally needs to be clocked 1.2GHz higher than the Intel i5-2400 to get the same results. 4.6GHz for the FX and 3.4GHz for the Intel chip.
Already thought something was off. Thanks for the heads-up Starscream.
Some of the data was off, it should be correct now. It's even worse for the FX8150 now with 49FPS.
Edit: If people are interested in contributing and keeping things up to date, PM me your email so I can make you a contributor.
Half the IPC of Intels architecture. AMD is catching up.......
For anyone interested in seeing the charts, check out the spoiler.
The charts are pretty convenient for taking a quick look to stay up to date.
i5 2450M @ 2.9GHz is faster than the fastest Dual Core SB i7 2640M @ 3.3GHz , it's neck and neck with FX 8350 @ 4.0GHz . I can't believe it , this is just wrong...
