@Shonumi
Any idea why there are so many Americans on this forum compared to Europeans? I could be wrong but it seems like that is the case for most tech oriented communities on the internet that I have visited.

And you figured you'd drop that right in the middle of a benchmark thread oblivious to the fact that it could easily add many pages of off-topic postings here? If his answer is simple and it ends, that's fine. If it needs to be talked about more, start another thread.
I got curious when I realized that very few of the results were from PAL versions. I take it you would prefer if we discussed this via PM.
NV: It's just that when you and others have conversations, it doesn't end after one comment. I don't think people want to scroll through a bunch of off-topic in this thread. I know I don't.

Well, I don't want to be rude and not respond, but I guess any further discussion after this would better be suited to the random thread or PMs.

If I had to take a guess, it might have something to do with the availability of computing parts. Granted, I've never lived/been outside the USA and I don't frequent non-US online stores for hardware. But I think you've pointed out that there aren't a lot of sites outside of the US with the same level as NewEgg. Theoretically, having less options to purchase might reduce the amount of computing hardware to the rest of the global community. Compound that with price differences when importing, you might restrict the number of possible enthusiasts outside the US.
I suppose you could try to imagine if Americans had to import Intel or AMD CPUs and Nvidia or AMD GPUs at +10~15% the price with half or less the selection. It would probably reduce those who have an interest in technical stuff since getting the hardware for it would preclude some individuals. But it's just a rough guess (not even sure how accurate it is). I mean we have members here who can't run Dolphin more than a few FPS, and they still are active around here. It could just be that the internet just has an American bias.
At any rate, here are my results. Click the spoiler tag to see them:
Test 1 - 66 FPS
Test 2 - 51 FPS
Test 3 - 77 FPS
Relevant Info: Using Slackware Linux, 13.37 x64, PAL version, OpenGL backend (no DX9 or DX11 available on my platform, obviously). My i5-2500K is at stock clocks (3.3 GHz) and Turbo Boosting has been disabled through BIOS.
A few FPS under
Xalphenos' results with a stock i5-2500K, but his was Turbo Boosting at points.
My results.

Thanks for finally participating Shonumi.
You're doing it wrong Lemon. Please read the OP.
You're supposed to use Dolphin 3.0. You can download that in the first post.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: Atom 330 1.6 ghz dualcore
GPU: Nvidia ION
RAM: 4GB ddr2 667
Dolphin 3.0 - 64-bit. NTSC.
Save 1 FPS: 8 VPS: 17 Speed: 28%
Save 2 FPS: 6 VPS: 13 Speed: 21%
Save 3 FPS: 12 VPS: 24 Speed: 40%
Abysmal.
Lawl. XD I would totally run this on a Pentium 4 machine if I had a PCI (not PCIe) GPU with shader 3.0, but I'm not even sure those exist.
Wow, thanks for all the contributions Xalphenos. Great results too!

Guess I'll have to post an updated chart then. One moment.
Edit: Chart updated! I did include Ness' results. Ideally I had hoped he would redo the third save without the boat in view for more accurate results.
Lemons results have not been added because he used a different build. Please redo the benchmark with 3.0 Lemon.
