Hi all!
How do I get rid of the star cursor in MG2? It's constantly at the center of the screen and obstructing my view.
I tried disconnecting the Wiimote but then I can't play the game at all. I am using an XBOX 360 controller.
Is it possible to get rid of it or just push into the corner permanently?
Thank you for reading.

Move your mouse.
If that doesn't work, make sure your
IR controls
(the Cursor Y-, Cursor Y+, etc area) are set as portrayed in the image below.
Ignore the marked parts.

Oh, I'm using a 360 controller. Not my mouse.
Under IR in your Wiimote config, set something to Hide, it can be any button. Press that button in-game to hide the IR pointer.

Okay, that hides it fine, but I have to constantly keep that button pressed for it to stay gone.
Is there a way to set it to auto-press or always on?
If you have moving the cursor set to your right joystick, right click Hide and do this:
NOT <right joystick up> AND NOT <right joystick left> AND NOT <right joystick right> AND NOT <right joystick down>. That way, unless you specifically move the cursor, it won't be visible in screen.
If you don't use the cursor at all, just do something like NOT space or something so the cursor is only visible if you press the space button.

Yes! That worked perfectly!
Thank you so much!

One last thing... do you know how to stop/mute the annoying star sound/animation that happens every time I spin?
This fella.

There isn't any way to stop that sound :3. You'll just have to deal with it.

Haha, I suppose so. :p
Is there a reason it happens though? Is it supposed to indicate something?
Thanks again by the way.

It's a sound effect. It indicates the little star guy can let you spin again.
