Title says it all I suppose. I'm mostly wondering about Donkey Kong Country Returns, since no matter what I do I can't get the framerate over 40-45 FPS, and I've followed the performance guide. I'd prefer it as close to 60 as possible, and the graphics doesn't really matter that much. I'd like to know if it's possible, or if I should just give up.
Let me know if I've forgotten to add something that you need to properly help me, and I'll add it as soon as I can.

Thanks in advance! \o/

This is the performance you could expect with this CPU (60-70% speed).
Try to overclock
Make sure, you have a decent CPU cooler. And always check your temps and don't set the Vcore too high!
Dolphin 3.0 should also provide a nice speed up compared to the recent 3.0-xxx's.
Overclock it if you can, i have the same CPU but overclocked to 3.6ghz and a good performance boost, just don't use the stock intel cooler as mine got as hot as 80c on it at full load.
