depends on what you have for a video card Tongue

gcp111

If you want to utilize 4GB of memory you're going to need a 64-bit OS, just so you know. Post your video card (or better yet your whole specs) and we'll see.
Main part for Dolphin is CPU. Faster = better
2 gb ram
Ati radeon HD 3850
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
windows vista ultimate 32 bit
i think every thing is good except my ram
you dont need more then 2GB ram

btw overclock your cpu to 3.5 ghz, i did that.
you have no bottleneck. Just overclock you cpu. Pm me for how or visit www.xtremesystems.org/forums to learn. Dolphin doesn't use more than 500mb of ram.
my heatsink sucks
No, I think it uses near 1 GB, because of "Failed to grab 1 GB of contignuos memory" or something like this, I could be mistaken.
so there is really no point in upgrading memory
if dolphin only use 1 gb of ram
