They happen in the very beginning of the game in Skyloft mostly. Out in front of the Bazaar's main entrance, turn around the corner to look for stuttering (this seemed to be an async fix).

For the sword, slash at some pots/attack some bokoblins. That is where I had issues. The pots were by the house to the left of the entrance of the bazaar and the bokoblins were in the forest.
I havent play this game at all, still dont have a sword and some guy on the roof what me to rescue some cat or something lol.
So I guess I could test it if you upload your save somewhere.
But from little I saw there were no stuttering for me
You get your a sword after getting the cat, visiting Zelda, going through some cutscenes (this is where mashing the a button and running the game without frame limit is your friend) and heading toward the waterfall. After that, go to the dojo behind the academy.

I'll try to post up the save tomorrow morning. Sorry I'm so hard to help, I'm just a little bit busy right now.
Well I tested it more, got the sword and I was right.
This game suffer from shader compiling on the fly stuttering just like lots of other games.
When I got the sword I saved and went to the bazar-got the stuttering not only turning around in skyloft but just walking forward too.
Found two pots, slashed at them and got long stutter-more like freeze ( 2-3 seconds )
Loaded the game, stuttering walking and turning around was gone, still got slight stutter breaking the pots.
Loaded the game third time,no stuttering anywhere.
Cleared "shadercache" folder stuttering is back.
This really is issue that should be looked at by the devs...
Fwiw, when you enable "Show Statistics" in the graphics configuration you can more easily verify that stuttering is caused by shader compilations. If you can see a big increase in the displayed number of pixel or vertex shaders at the same time as the game stutters, the shader compilations are indeed to blame.
Definitely shader issue.
Pshaders jumped from 129 to 179 when breaking the pots.
When just walking around or turning they jump for about 10 when game stutters.
Yo btw, are you using 3.0 or a nightly build?
I am using 3.0-2xx because I dont have motion plus thing ( using emulated motion+ build )
ew. Two things:
- Especially when talking about branches or even forks (emulated m+ technically is a fork), the 3.0-xxx naming scheme is crap and completely useless. I merged some nice changes with 3.0-135 in master, but I have no idea if you have those because you're using some random fork. I can't even look it up because git doesn't understand the naming scheme. I.e. please get used to refer to specific builds, especially from branches/forks, via their git hash (which can be looked up in the about dialog..)
- Those "nice changes" I merged with 3.0-135 dealt with reducing the stuttering caused by redundant shader compilations. Due to what I said above, I can't really tell if you actually benefit from these, though.
I only used that revision for this game as I cant play it without-for any other games I used latest master build from download page ( for example when I talked about stuttering in other games in my thread such as last story, pandora tower,SMG etc )

As for about motion plus build I am using,it says its from master branch and revision is : 46d9c35ab8249df8595fc455f167f439bd7243de
