They are probably talking about their GPU.

Your GPU is fine. Just OC your cpu.
ah ok!
well, is it difficult to OC the cpu?
Nope, pretty easy, if you know, what you're doing Smile There are several guides in the web Wink
ok thanks, I will try :/
well, my cpu has 2,8 Ghz.
Which is a correct value of OC I have to set? Which is the maximum value that my cpu can support? I have read that an upgrade of 200-300Mhz doesn't heat up and doesn't damage the computer. But an upgrade of 1Ghz can damage and heat up a lot my pc. Is it correct?

What do you suggest?

thanks
Depends on cooling, CPU, etc.
With proper cooling 3.8GHz should easily be doable.
ok thanks

Now I see that some games as Donkey Kong country runs only at 40fps...pheraps with an OC at 3.2 Ghz the fps can became 50/60?

Another question: Dolphin emulate Gamecube games too. Well, my computer can run in a better way tha game cube games without an OC? Gamecube games are more "simple" than Wii games...

I have tried Soul calibur II (is too slow), Metal gear solid twin snakes (it freezes during the opening), Zelda Wind Waker (it freezes after the opening), Smash Bros Melee (runs with some slowdow and sound problems), F-Zero GX (a lor of slowdown).
But dunfring tha game the CPU is only at 21-25% of power! So I don't know why the games don't run correctly... Do you know if there are particular options for run them? Is there a list of supported games of Game Cube?

3.2 GHz won't be enough

Depends which games

You tried pretty demanding games

Well, the list says:

Metal gear solid twin snakes: 4*
Soul calibur II: 5*
F-Zero GX: 4*
Super Smash Bros Melee: 4*
The legend of Zelda: wind Waker: 4*

But on my computer all those games are unplayable, with a lot of problems. Do you think that I have to set up in a different way some parameters? When I run thos games, I see that the cpu runs at 20% of its capability...so...why the game are so slowly?

thanks
