here's my specs

amd phenom II x2 555 BE (3.2-> 3.68ghz)
8gb ddr2 ram
gt 430 (oc'ed to 825mhz/1650mhz/825mhz)
win7 64bit

I also need advice for the settings for smooth gameplay w/ 2 players. Also, what are other games that are good without the use of wiimotes? thanks

Well, SSBB is playable (Single player). but I'm not sure concerning mulitplayer mode.

Well, you can play it at 45-58 fps, depend your graphic setting, and you can speed up by telling us your configuration (snapshots) and we will tell you the best setting.
