In response to your PM:

Not at all...
You'd just have more storage.
And would have to pay a bit more.
That's it.

For some reason I can't send a PM back.
dont get pentium g cpu its only dual core.
Get i5 2300,2400,3540 if you are on the budget ( you can use h61 board )
If you can spare enough money, you can get i5 3570k like you wanted but it doesnt go with h61..you need z77 board which is more expensive.
So either locked i5 quad core with h61 or unlocked i5 with better board which support overclocking

+i5 3570k + H61 :
_You waste your money on an unlocked CPU , you won't be able to overclock at all
_3rd gen i5 won't work on H61 chipset unless you update the bios for it . Not all H61 have a bios update for this -> 90% risky
_i5 is a quad core , i doubt the PSU would be enough for it

+i5 2500k+ H61 :
_You waste your money on an unlocked CPU , you won't be able to overclock at all
_i5 is a quad core , i doubt the PSU would be enough for it
+i5 2500+ H61:
_Ok
_i5 is a quad core , i doubt the PSU would be enough for it
_It still won't run demanding games full speed with LLE -> Waste money

IMO , either stick with the G860 build or save up 700$ for i5 2500k/i5 3570k build

I agree with this.
If you aren't all that good at building a PC, I'd recommend getting something within your means.
Because I5 3570k and 2500k are DESIGNED for people who build their own PCs.
G860 is more designed for Gaming PCs for people who don't care for building their own.

But whatever, its your money.

Have you read this?

so if i got the i5-2400, it would be ok with the board? ive checked and if i got the same setup as mentioned earlier, it would only be 577.94. which is good for what id be paying for.

....
I suppose so...
Honestly, I doubt you'd see that much of a difference.
(Compared to the G860 in Dolphin performance.)
thats kind of what i was thinking. i mean dual core is good for the likes of dolphin and pcsx2 right? plus aside from emulating, i wont be doing much hassle on the pc. thanks for the input.

Unless you need excessive multitasking, the G860 should be fine.
Besides, any games that the G860 has trouble with, the I5 2400 will as well. (I own an I5 2300, So I'd know.)
So its just another $100 for heavy multitasking.
yeah certainly will be fine, so my final total will be 500.55, which is right at my price point. thats with a 1tb hard drive. thank ya much for everything Smile
