Using Dolphin 3.0-751 and after clicking on my game ISO, I get an error message that says:

"Failed to compile pixel shader!
This usually happens when trying to use Dolphin with an outdated GPU or integrated GPU like the Intel GMA series.

Debug info (ps_3_0):
(15): error X4555: invalid type used for 'VPOS' input semantics."

Any ideas? I tried to get this emulator to work on my Mac for about a week with no luck, and now I'm trying it on my PC
Your GFX are too weak

That's self explanatory. Did you read that part?

What SS said. Your profile says you use the GMA X3100, so the error message isn't totally unexpected, really. Strangely enough, the GMA X3100 in my Gateway laptop can run Dolphin just fine. It may be OS X's OpenGL drivers. At any rate, you won't get far with that machine in Dolphin; trust me, I've tried with similar specs.
You should really buy a whole new PC.

If you've got the money, I suggest you to get the Core i5-3570k, a Z77 MoBo, a decent GPU (e.g. the GTX 550 Ti OR Radeon HD 68XX), 8GB RAM and a good CPU cooler for overclocking Wink

to DefenderX, r u fcuking nuts. my system runs on GeForce 9400GT, which is way over the dolphin requirement GeForce 5400. my ram is low. but i don't think that's the problem. the wii console is way backwards than any current system.

...what? You make no sense and clearly don't have any idea how emulation works.

Running a game on a emulator is different than running it in the original console. The GPU doesn't actually receive as much stress under Dolphin as the CPU, which is different than how it would generally work in the Wii. The CPU has to translate all of the instructions meant for the Wii/GC's CPU instruction set AND all of the instruction meant for the GPU. This naturally takes time and makes the CPU way more important in emulation than the GPU.

Don't cuss at people when you don't even know what you are talking about; it just tarnishes your image on this board.
Let him be, Axxer. He just wants to troll Tongue

Actually, your GPU is barely above the minimum for 9XXX series Nvidia GPUs. Take a Look at the Minimum GPU specs thread.

As long as you have enough RAM, it's not going to be an issue when playing Dolphin. Unless you have a program using crazy amounts of RAM, 2GB is plenty.
