Dolphin, the GameCube and Wii emulator - Forums

hi everyone. new to the forums, so if im posting this in the wrong place, go easy on me

anyways, my pc has the following specs:

windows 7 x64
dolphin v3.0-751 x64
intel core 2 quad cpu Q8200 @ 2.33GHz
4GB DDR2 RAM
nvidia geforce 8800GTS

ive tried playing numerous gc games, and none of them run consistently at full speed.

f-zero gx runs at 20-30 VPS
mario kart sometimes runs at the full 60 VPS, but frequently drops lower than that

im running dolphin with the lowest (default) settings

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yep, your CPU is too weak. Overclock it, use the official Dolphin 3.0 release and try this settings -> http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=23618
