I have not played half life yet. I do plan on doing it, though, and the release of Half Life 3 would be an excellent opportunity to throw money at valve.
Also, I want portal 3. Portal 2 is in my list of 3 favourite games (the list doesn't have an order, though). I even spent time once working out what potential plot it may have.

The Orange Box doesn't contain Half Life or any of the expansion packs for Half Life. It only contains HL2 and the expansions for HL2.

I remember now how I got half-life 1. I bought it hoping I would understand the story better... I still don't get it though.
