For most GC games yes. But there will still be many (metroid prime is a good example) that will not run fullspeed all the time with either of those cpus.

G860 is almost as fast as i3 2100 , there is no reason to get i3 2100 over it unless you need Hyper Threading

I've found the PC I'm going for, hopefully I'll have ordered it by next weekend

Man, I'm trying to get a refund for this computer I bought (the one with the Intel Pentium 4 HT) as in his listing he says it is a powerful computer capable of high end gaming (if you insert a dedicated graphics card - which I have) It's so slow, it can barely watch a youtube video without slowing other windows down. He thinks it's down to RAM, and that if I increase it, gaming performance will get a massive boost..

Tell him to go eat some cyanide because that's a massive load of BS.

I've been trying to get across to him that the CPU is massively outdated (They were discontinued 4 years ago) in about 5 messages now, but he keeps coming back with what it could be. I just want a refund so I can get a PC that does what I need it to, not a falsely advertised one.

He's the worst kind of troll: a false advertiser.

People are dishonest, but the buyer is supposed to know what he's buying, and he didn't. He has to take some responsibility for that too.
