It should be helpful though . Try to overclock if you can. Turbo Boost isn't enough

The i7-2760QM is not an Extreme Mobile CPU (XM) which has an open multipler. So overlocking won't be possible

Well, overlocking is still possible through the BCLK. (and the tool SetFSB) But it's very dangerous if you have no idea what you're doing

I've never overclocked. I was hoping for a safer option
