It definately makes a difference but it just needs that little bit of a push under extreme environments like boss battles and vbeam just doesn't do anything. The volume issue still exists under lle it just isn't distorted. Any ideas?

What are your specs?
Would you mind posting the rest of your Dolphin settings too? Frame skipping in Dolphin still renders the frame, but just doesn't draw it to the screen. It should affect your GPU load more than anything. Perhaps the issue has something to do with your graphical settings, since you said frame skipping helps.
my specs and settings. ok lets see...

i7 2760qm 2.4-3.5ghz [sandy bridge]
gtx580m 2gb gddr5 [overclockable msi]
ic diamond / plenty airflow

settings are default i have changed the fullscreen res to 1080
native render 3x [ doesn't actually seem to make a difference. maybe negligible]
dual core on [default]
dx9
hle / lle
force 16.9

i think that's it
To get LLE working "properly" you need an overclocked CPU to around 4GHz (for most of games and above all SMG 1/2). Below this you're likely to get sound issues even with LLE
ok. The original issue is varying degrees of volume. This is the main issue i'm trying to fix. Under lle i have tried lock cores to whatever and lle on thread. No difference. In the future, i will upgrade my cpu. The one i'm using isn't the default one either. In terms of currently, i need just a tiny boost. Not much. But it needs to be a real boost. Thanks. Lle under twilight is excellent. Wind waker, it's the boss battles and galaxy is a tiny pause every other second. Less than 30 pauses per minute and generally very playable in terms of speed. Thanks for all your ideas

I agree with you, but some people have success with this "trick". So I guess, it's worth to mention it Wink
does nobody else have sound effects and music playing at different levels? No lle tricks? No chance of offloading some data into a third core or maybe half screen per core or cloud emulation or anything?

LLE uses a dedicated core if "LLE on Thread" is checked
