So I've been using Dolphin on my newly-built PC (i5 3570K @ 4.2 GHz + 16 GB RAM + nVidia GTS 250 temporarily), but I can't seem to get all of the audio in Wind Waker working, even with LLE audio. I've tried running LLE, HLE, LLE on Thread, turning on/off DTK Music, Xaudio2/Dsound, even changed the frequency, but I couldn't get anything. I also tried both of the recompilers and got nothing. LLE interpreter crashes on startup. All I get is some footstep sound effects, rolling, sword swinging. Maybe some birds too.
Any idea what could cause this? It isn't in the wiki and any search in the forums for "no sound wind waker" returns stuff from revision 2000-3000 about how audio is wip. All my other games work.
Edit: I'm using Windows 7 64bit with Dolphin 3.0 Master
Have you tried the latest Dolphin build?

here and do not change any settings.
Yeah, same result. I renamed te exe to Dolphin 735 and dropped it into the same folder. If the dll's are updated or something with each build too I'll replace those as well.
Obviously no one else is having the sound issues you are, so I'd look at your PC directly and not so much at Dolphin. That's probably not real helpful, but the sound with the latest builds are fine with the game you listed.
I just don't have any idea what wind waker could be doing different than all of my other games. They all work fine.
It worked before, but after tweaking settings for SMG it stopped working...
Make sure the item hang fix is not enabled as that tends to mess up audio in this game. I'm not even sure if that is needed anymore, if not that "fix" should probably be removed.

That was it thank you. I need that patch though cause I got a gray screen after beating the dragon roost cavern.
I told you not to change any settings.
Copying it to an existing Dolphin folder will make it use its settings etc.
Also download the latest, 749 that you will find in the link I sent you.
I didn't change any settings from how it was in 3.0, it is all the same.
I'll copy in 739.
