I was recently attempting to boot SSBB from a folder, (extract all files, so they can be replaced easily), as I read support for this was added a while ago. However I couldn't find the info on how to do it. Tried running the boot.dol from the same folder as the game's files, but the game just says to insert the SSBB disc. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

I had the same problem here. As far as I know there isn't a fix for it. However I can confirm boot from extracted files does work with some other games.

No. Better have kept your disc. I'll never throw my discs away unless they're no more functional Wink

Edit: Just to confirm, we are talking about booting from extracted files right?
