Vbeam trick would help if the FPS was close to full speed .Apparently , he has half speed so ...

Huh, I use it all the time, it depends on your game Wink

Might vary depending on hardware and the game, but I've gotten the VBeam Trick to work on ToS (NTSC) as low as 30 FPS in Tales of Symphonia, and around 40~45 FPS in Metroid Prime (also NTSC).

Xibron, your settings look fine for the most part. I would change the Framelimit to Audio as that's more accurate than Auto, and maybe try turning off VSync unless you get really bad screen-tearing without it.

Turning off VSync really helped out my speed.

Same. I've went as low to 15FPS or so and it still works perfectly.
It has nothing to do with the Accurate VBeam option though.

It has to do with disabling idle skipping.
So why don't we call it something else? xD

We call it the VBeam Trick because that's what rpglord and I started doing it, and everyone else seems to have done it now too. At any rate, I've gotten it to work solely by enabling Accurate VBeam emulation, never once touching the Idle Skipping option. I've got a video of Metroid Prime to prove it too.

Enabling Accurate VBeam and disabling Idle Skipping both help to make accurate timings. Sometimes both need to be changed (as was rpglord's case) in order for it to work, or only one of the two (as was your case and mine). That part seems hardware related; it was discussed a bit in the thread I linked to. I'd rather enable Accurate VBeam than disable Idle Skipping, if only for the possible speedups Idle Skipping might bring, but it probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference either way.

Nevertheless, 15FPS on ToS + perfect LLE is a new record for the VBeam Trick :p

I'm assuming this works for you too with Tales of Symphonia?
It doesn't work for me for some reason. Idle skipping is the only option that reacts.
I'm using v3.0-735.

PS: The intro movie nearly played perfectly with that option disabled.

Vanilla Tales of Symphonia is already texture heavy in the menu's etc and makes me drop to 45-50FPS when opening the Synopsis.
The retexture project makes me drop to these low digits.

Yeah, I've tried it on ToS, and it was the only LLE game I tested with the VBeam Trick to actually drop the FPS. Other games experienced no drops at all. Again, this was talked about in rpglord's thread. Dunno why one or the other seems to work for people. It deserves more testing, but no one seems interested in giving additional info/results about it. For reference, you can watch my MP video here, on Youtube.

There were a couple of times when I thought the intro was going to play alright with the VBeam Trick, but it never did work exactly like it should on real hardware for me. One of these days...

I remember that you mentioned the menu's being kinda demanding, though I've yet to reproduce this on my system (not that I want to reproduce slower menus Big Grin). I'll try the retexture project some other time and see if that impacts performance. This is somewhat off-topic to Xibron's problem though, rpglord's thread would probably be a better place to talk about all of this.
