My specs are
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Processor/CPU: Phenom X4 955 OC'd 3.8ghz
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon HD6950 1gb
Memory/RAM: 4GB 1333MHz
Im Using dolphin 3.0-735
And I was curious what kind of performance from games like
GC
-Zelda TP
-Mario sunshine
-Zelda Windwaker
Wii
-Skyward sword
All three of those GC games should run fine (except for hyrule field of course).
Skyward sword will have some dips. It would probably dip as low as 23-26 fps in slow areas.
probably fine for medium settings, my 965 is at 3.8 most of the time to,4.2 max
but i have 6870cfx so its almost double the speed, but dolphin is also mostly cpu, just keep it at medium settings i would guess, turn some enhancments down if the gpu is slow
i get 97% speed in skyward sword with 16x and 4x antialising with all enhancments checked expect 3d of course,i have only played for 30 minutes so far though as i just got my superior candle sensor bar working.works 15+ feet away and its perfect.100 tealight candles for 7 bucks,200hours or so of life
Medium settings? What on earth does that even mean?
Also you realize that dolphin gains absolutely no benefit from crossfire right (due to the way the rendering is done)?
His gpu should be fast enough to handle 4x IR. Which is as high as the emulator goes.

doesnt it go 9x AA, and im still new here and dont know everything lol, thanks for the learning lesson lol
Thank-you for the quick answers! But one other quick question, does a SSD benefit dolphin?
No, not really.
Quote:Doesn't dolphin go up to 9x SSAA? I'm still new here and I don't know everything. Thank you for the lesson.
Yes. However I still have no idea how you can arbitrarily determine what low, medium, and high settings are. Since dolphin has no settings that are labeled in this way.

You should probably hold off on giving advice for a while if you're unsure.
Are there any recommended builds? I looked at a forum and it showed svn r6515 as being really fast... any comments? Thanks!
