Can someone plz tell me, what neobrain has done lol? Ive read that so often and never understood, what it means, cause 4x/9x SSAA works fine with 3D9. So why and where is it broken???
It has a larger performance penalty and looks uglier than it should. That's the problem.
cmon more ppl need to join or else this is no fun

Send it to delroth and just end it, I don't think anyone is interested in jumping through hoops for this.
I'm definitely not the most deserving dev.
The real issue is that (for obvious reasons) you won't get any dev bragging about what they do and how what they do is better than what the other devs do. Outside the dev team it's also hard to evaluate whether a change is "good" or not - see the "fast mipmaps" setting removal if you want an example of "all the dev team thinking a change is good but most users being too stupid to realize it".
Why not make the dev win that has made the most useful and bugfixing (Emulation wise) commits in a specified time

If you believe this then you don't know what AA is supposed to do. It is broken. Try using a revision before 6549 and you'll see what it's supposed to look like.
All 4xSSAA essentially does right now is double the efb scale. Unless your IR is set very low it will have hardly any impact on aliasing. 9xSSAA is currently comparable to what 4xSSAA should look like, except blurrier.
Neobrains commit broke it but didn't fix anything else (and is therefore totally unnecessary), which is why I constantly point this out to him. Because I will never ever forget this or let this go *stares directly into neobrains soul*.
Wait...why don't you fix it :p
He rather spends literally hours complaining to me rather than learning C++ and fixing it himself :p
