I've been playing the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess for a while now and clocked in about 19 hours of game time but for some strange reason the performance has gone down by half in some areas, for example Hyrule Fields, I always had constant 30fps no matter the location. I've tried a different build of Dolphin, currently I have 3.0-735, I've reinstalled my drivers and tried both the latest official and the latest beta driver but nothing helped.
My specs are currently these:
Intel 3570K @ 3.4GHz
AMD HD6870
8GB RAM
And like I said before, I had no problems at all for almost 19 hours of game time. I've also searched a bit and couldn't find anything that helped me.
This is a known issue, Hyrule Field gets slower as the game progresses.
Does this issue occur in every area or just Hyrule Field? Because I'm getting it everywhere in the game even in tiny houses.
Just Hyrule Field.
But if you get slowdowns everywhere, there's something wrong with your settings.

In Hyrule Field
AND in a few other parts of the game such as towns
Thanks for the answers guys. I've been playing around with some other games and I don't suffer any performance issues there. What a shame because I was really enjoying my play through of the game.
Actually, with that CPU you shouldn't have any slowdowns even in Hyrule Field. I bet overclocking to 3.8GHz would help a lot.

He should hit fullspeed without overclocking, probably the settings

I've already said that
But the funny thing is that I have 19 hours of game time in the game and it worked perfectly fine for all of those 19 hours. I've tried playing around with some settings but nothing seems to fix my issues. Overclocking isn't something I exactly want to do because I aim for a near silent system with most fans running slow and I also have a tiny mITX case and the motherboard I have doesn't support overclocking because I didn't think I needed to do any when I bought the system.
