the price difference could be the screen for all we know, not these small parts, or even the build quality (metal over plastic) or even extra features like lighting or ports.

Not worth it , that msi isn't a gaming laptop either
You can get
Clevo gaming laptop
for the same price but much better cooling design , CPU and GPU
