Hi guys, what do I need to run Mario Kart for the Wii with 4 players running at 60 fps? You can see my system specs below and it runs 1 player fine at 60 fps with maybe a hiccup here or there.
As I add more players to the game the frme rate drops 2p 40fps 3p 25fps 4p 17fps. I would really appreciate it if someone can help me out here, is anyone else playing 4p on mario kart perfectly? If so what are your system specs?

Operating System: windows vista 32bit SP1

Processor/CPU: Pentium Dual core E5200 O.C 4.0Ghz

Video Card/GPU: Nvidia geforce 9800

Memory/RAM: Patriot DDR2 800 3Gb

Not even an i5 2500k @ 4.6GHz can run MKWii full speed with 4 players

Can you be more specific?
Can I get by with an i3 and what speed?
Nope, you need an i5-3570k @ 4.5GHz or more if you want to play MKWii fullspeed with 4 players. (But I doubt, that this is enough, maybe the clock speed must be higher...)

An i3 + 4 players... The game won't be really playable.

Anybody know what the Wii system has in it? It can't be all that powerful. Why is it that a computer cannot play the Wii games as well as a Wii?

Computer !=Wii

This is emulation Cool

uhh, yeah but why can't the emulation run as smooth as the Wii?
I mean the Wii can't have a 4Ghz+ processor in it.

Shitposting is for delfino plaza, enough with the lol-images ->

The game is built to drop the FPS down to 30 when you play with 3 or 4 players.
You can however force the game to run at 60, but as said before, you need a very fast computer to do that.
I'll check for you how much I drop with 4 players. Anyone knows which track is the most demanding?

There you go. Works perfectly fine.
