When Notch talked about new features in Minecraft I doubt that any thing was set in stone if any thing he was probably thinking about what the next [good] step for Minecraft would be.

In other words he was probably brain storming at the time.
So you're saying we can't trust anything he says? He stated on multiple instances "I'm going to add [insert feature here]". When you directly say that you're going to do something you do it. People bought his product based on certain features that he said he was going to add, then he never did.

"LOL why are you entitled gamers getting upset that I'm not doing any of the stuff that I said I would do? What you think I owe you something just because you bought my product? Stop being so entitled"

^This type of logic does not sit well with consumers.
It is not his fault that people are too dull to know the difference between speculation and actually committing to it...

ON SECOND THOUGHT: if he really did say I'm going to add [insert feature here] then that would be a dick move -.-

He did. MANY times.

What are we supposed to assume he's lying? Is nothing he says credible in any way? Can we not trust the developer of the product when he tells us what the product is eventually going to have while we preorder it when it's still in alpha?

Developers need to be held accountable for the things that they say. They are professionals. They need to be responsible and do the things that they said they were going to do. As professionals they exist to serve their company and their customers. It's as simple as that. They fulfill our needs, and we pay them for their time by buying their products. If they don't care about our needs then they have no reason to exist or make any money, that's how capitalism works

I love minecraft but notch has always been full of shit. Anyone who doesn't see that is blind.

Can I say about a good portion of the original Xbox's library was crap? Or is that just going too far?

That game was bad, but I don't think it is the worst game I own. The story was crap, the gameplay felt like sonic adventure (but broken Big Grin). I'd give it a 2/5 aka meh rating.

Edit: still thought it was worth a playthrough but I guess that's subjective.
