Hi there, i Test the Goldmaster osx Mountain Lion and dolphin crashed when i try to connect my original Wii Controller. Has anybody an idea what can i do ?!
You can start by making a proper thread asking for help.
Quote:When creating new threads about dolphin, always provide a) your PC specs (CPU, RAM, GPU, Operating System, ..) b) information about the Dolphin build used (version/revision, source, ..) c) Dolphin settings d) detailed description of what you're trying to do (e.g including the name of the game you tried to run). Ignoring this rule will get your thread closed and have you warned off.
We don't have your Dolphin settings e.g. your Wiimote configuration, your Dolphin revision, or even the game(s) you're trying to play. Additionally, it'd be helpful to have your exact hardware specs, like my signature/user profile. Provide this information so we can better help you.
I have a feeling this error will be reproducable with any ML build, but heres the specifics..
retina Macbook pro (1920x1200 scaling, Dolphin in windowed mode)
2.6 Ivy Quad
16gb ram
GT650m
OS X 10.8 GM
Dolphin 3.0-716, and 721
OS X ERROR:
http://pastie.org/4263906
Steps to reproduce: Open Dolphin. Attempt to connect Wiimote.
Same crash occurs if a game is open, for me. Wiimote connecting is in general inconsistent, too. (Clicking the Wiimote setting button often produces a lag.)
Edit: Reproducable while forcing Nvidia or Intel HD4000 to remain active, as well as Dynamic.
I was able to fix Darwiin Remote's Wii Remote Framework over on Source-Forge (forums, still working on developer access). I wanted to share the news among the various Wii Remote projects as we all thrive together.
Hopefully you can pass this on to any available coders. And it may be that your framework is so different that it wont be compatible.

I've found a workaround until devs fix the Mountain Lion crashes..
Anyhow, what I do is the following to get my WiiMote working in Mountain Lion.
1. Press the sync button on the back of the WiiMote
2. Start Dolphin and go straight to Wiimote in the top bar.
3. Your wiimote should connect automagically without crashing. You don't even need to press Refresh.
That's it. Enjoy :-)
PS. I can post a video on how I do this if it's unclear. DS

I'm going to try that out, I'll report my results in a few minutes.
EDIT: It worked! Thanks

I just remembered I forgot to write the last step. When you get into Wiimote in Dolphin your Wiimote will give a vibration and stop blinking.. But it won't connect.
So close Dolphin, press sync Again on your Wiimote and now start Dolphin and go straigt to Wiimote. Now it will vibrate just like the first time, but now the first led will light as well :-)
Gl hf!

Yes but I find Dolphin (build 379) very unstable on ML. All games crash on loading states for example.

It has been, although sometimes you need to reconnect the remote twice when you startup before launching a game. I used the download in comment fourteen, and ran the game from this download. It's a new dolphin program, and so far I haven't been able to use game states, but it's better than nothing on mountain lion. I'm sure there will be better patches and integration eventually, until then, it would be a good idea to wait longer before updating, but then again, sometimes you just have to have the new thing.
