Oh, I thought the branch name was already in the title bar, just not in the about box. Can you confirm that it is indeed the case?
I downloaded a Triforce build and it says master in the about box and just 3.0-xxx in the title bar.
Ok, I'm adding that to my TODO-list, thanks. It should be easy to fix.
Hey delroth, I am also interested in setting something like this up, and I have been unable to figure out how to automatically compile when a new revision is out. How did you do that? Some sort of script that checks git every so often?
Thanks

Precisely.
The script then send the change to my buildbot master which runs the builds and data uploads (
http://builds.delroth.net/).
fwiw it should be possible to work that action into some git hook(, but probably not on gcode).
Google Code can HTTP POST JSON data about the commit to a specific URL at each push. Not sure if it does it for each commit as I do though.
that is how the irc bot works at the moment

@shuffle2 omg the irc I hate it with a passion...

also isn't that dolphin gif the old developer badge (or whatever you call it)?
No, it was a temporary thing that everyone hated, and had put back. It appeared after one person made something a universal change which should have been just for them. However shuffle likes it, and he's only got one, so he's let of for still wanting it.
