Hey everyone,

I searched for a list of good sensor bars with USB/wireless, but found nothing.

The reason should be clear, the original wii sensor bar isnt compatible with the plugs of a pc. Idea

So, clever like I am, i thought that here are users with a good sensor bar?

Because I have no clue about sensor bars and which one is good for the wiimote.

On amazon, e.g., I found 0 sensor bars with USB plug, only wireless ones..

So my wish is clear I hope: I search a sensor bar, if possible driven per USB, at least as good as the original, and cheap ofc.

If thats not possible, please recommand me a wireless one. I want highest precision of wiimote which is possible, wiimote should just be as
precise like with the original sensor bar from the best company of da world, nintendo Big Grin

thx I read these threads yet, and both threads are very thin indeed..

i used 2 candelass till now and they worked fine and wii sensor bar has more than 8 leds or so, is there any difference then?

Im not an electricity ingenieur and i would prefer USB > wireless like I said..

exactly such a thing, do you own that?
I don't own it, No, but It's at my house, My younger brother bought it on my recommendation. I am helping him set up all this stuff.

I would recommend a dab of hot glue where the wire connects into the connector, there is a hole there, and it looks like it could be sealed for durability.

Other than that, it works perfect.

EDIT: See attached photo about the hole in the connector that should have some glue.

I used the sensor bar that almost everyone sells, like walmart or bestbuy... its made by apower.com if you want to look it up.

Buy a USB cable or find one laying around and cut of the end that does NOT plug into the PC. Strip maybe 6" of outer plastic, and then remove the two wires that are not black or red. Either solder, or press the tips of the bare wires into the contacts. Black for (-) and red for (+) that is all you really have to do. You could strip a little more wire and tie the wire on to the contacts, just as long as its connected. Its really not hard. All you need is a knife.
