...why? It is an excellent deal and I have never had them give me a bad product.

I am sorry you are jealous that this deal saves a good $50-75.

Would you care to elaborate why idiots only buy from fry's?

Their stores are staffed by halfwits.
Their customer service is shot to shit.
They put the cheapest shit mainboard together with a semi decent cpu and make it out to be a sales price

Do many people who know things work at other tech stores? I'd have thought if you knew excessive amounts about PC hardware, then you'd be intelligent enough to be employable in a higher paid career.

Homophones aren't that hard. Work at frys?
Don't know about that but MSI Z77 Military Class III ain't cheap (140$) unless it's DOA product
I found a review saying that the board in that pack was a budget model: They'd skipped some features to save production costs, and limited the possible Vcore boost to 0.03V, reducing potential for overclocks, although that reviewer got to 4.4GHz on an Ivy Bridge chip, which is more than playable games need in order to be playable.

I avoid chain stores for this very reason, the small stores tend to employ people who actually are trained in the it field
Actually, I do know one store where the staff know what they're doing, but I think that's just because the people who pre-build PCs and do their factory overclocking, and design the systems they sell without many customisation options, are the same people who operate the tills. I could fill in a form on their website, and within a week or two pick up a system with a watercooled 3770k at 5.2GHz, quad SLI GTX680s, and windows and uBuntu dual booted, guaranteed for 3 years, which does require more know-how than simply ringing up that something costs £72.99 at a till. They also write their own hardware reviews, again something which requires background knowledge. However, they aren't a chain, and only have one actual shop in the world (although they have a website).

Are you actually implying that people trained in IT know what they're doing?

That's not like you at all squall.

No, some IT people can do spreadsheets (really slowly) and even attach them to emails. That's marginally better than not knowing what they're doing.
