I've read 10 pages of nunchuck related issues and none of the threads have offered any answers. Nor have I received any feedback from the support email.

I (and seemingly several other people) are using the original wiimotes, official wiimotes, with the original nunchuk. I've checked to make sure my wiimote and nunchuk work, and they do with my friends Wii. Yet when I connect it to dolphin, the nunchuck isn't detected. I got it to sort of work after swapping from the emulated nunchuk (which for some reason also simulated the whole wiimote making my real wiimote not work) but as soon as I started to use the nunchuck it gave me the "please connect nunchuk" message.

Can we please get some definitive answers as to why this is happening. I'm very close to giving up on dolphin altogether.
Yeah, don't bother with the support e-mail on the main site. The site is taken care of by mamario (he's not around very often), so he'd probably be the only one reading it. The forums are a better place to get answers, at any rate.

It's not like people didn't try to help you in your other two threads. I noticed from the threads you made that you don't have MS or Toshiba's bluetooth stacks, since they're not compatible with your laptop's built-in adapter. Some built-in adapters have been known to recognize Wiimotes, but not do so well actually communicating with them (Mac users get this frequently).

I'd seriously suggest looking into an external bluetooth adapter and trying the two aforementioned stacks. A lot of people seem to have the best results using one or the other. External bluetooth adapter's are cheap enough anyway.

I have the Toshiba stack, it's incompatible with the built in Atheros bluetooth adapter that came with my Asus computer. I had to wait to buy a generic bluetooth dongle. Now that I do have it, I'm still running into the same problem, which is that the nunchuk isn't recognized as being connected to the wiimote. Not only that, but I'm not the only one having this problem. A search of the forums on the nunchuk connectivity issue shows that there are at least thirty other threads which haven't had any replies on how to fix this issue, and no actual answers are to be found in the few threads that do have some replies. I know my nunchuk works, I know it's an original to the Wii and isn't some third party version.

So, let's try this again please, why no actual answers to why the nunchuk isn't working?

I rectified for you

What games have you tried?
Have you tried to disconnect/reconnect?
Have you tried to start playing with the extension disabled and to enable it when asked?
Have you tried to use "Hybrid Wiimote"?

Even though you edited your post, LordRelentless:

Keep in mind that no one owes anyone anything. People PM and email people all day long all over the internet and many times they get ignored for whatever reason. Maybe they're busy, maybe they didn't check their mail or maybe they just didn't feel like answering your question. Even though you think it's and important and original question, maybe it's been answered 1,000 times before and you just didn't realize it. If you have an issue, you're obviously free to try and get some help, but no one is required to send you a message in return. You shouldn't act as if they are.
i just bought new nunchuk from Hong Kong (China) 2 days ago
It works fine with dolphin though
Yes , it's original Nintendo nunchuk
@Lordvador; I've tried Mario Kart for the Wii and Zelda Twilight Princess the only two games I own. I have tried the connect disconnect, alt+f5 etc, no luck. I have tried the emulated nunchuk after following the instructions for setting it up, but to no avail (the emulated nunchuk interferes with the real wii mote in hybrid mode and I have to turn it off to use the real wiimote. This oddly gives me use of the nunchuk for a few moments before I get the "please connect nunchuk" message, this seems to be exclusive to zelda). I've tried the extension disconnected first and then tried connecting when prompted, but it remains undetected.

@Starscream; First off, this is a support forum, your very purpose is to support people who are trying to use the Dolphin software. Secondly, when someone asks for help, and is given none on a support forum, then the forum has lost it's purpose. This is evidenced by the dozen or so posts about nunchuks not working (I am not the only one facing this issue). Lastly, had the nunchuk issue been answered and fixed a 1000 times, I would not be on here complaining that no answer has in fact been provided. Let's stick to some logic, shall we?

@admin89: That's wonderful for you, I purchased mine as a set, the nunchuk is an original Wii nunchuk, I shouldn't have to purchase another nunchuk for Dolphin to work with it. There must be something with the programming or settings that I'm not seeing that is preventing the system from detecting the nunchuk that I have. Purchasing another working nunchuk will not solve this issue.

People are here to help if they want to. They do it out of the kindness of their hearts, if they feel like it. Besides that, we were talking about you complaining about not receiving a PM or Email. If someone doesn't return your message, don't go whining on a public forum about it. No one has to send you anything.

My suggestion for you is to get a hold of yourself, stop acting entitled and as if we are all here to please you and maybe you can shake off this bad first impression and someone may feel like helping you.

Okay, you're now putting words into my mouth. I made a complaint about how the support email on the main website which explicitly says "If you're having any problems, please emails for support" hasn't returned any results. This is merely an observation about the lacking support from the main website. The second complaint is that NO actual answer to the problem has been given. I've been working on this for the last six months trying to get dolphin to work. I'm not acting entitled, I'm acting like a person who is frustrated with a program and is frustrated with a community which has failed in several cases to offer ANY suggestions on how to fix the problem at hand.

How about you stop berating me for asking for help and pointing out my frustrations to you, and actually try helping me fix the problem.

Like I said, it's not like we haven't tried to help you. There were several suggestions in your other threads and in this one. It just turns out that none of them has been a working solution.
