Sheesh. Didn't know my computer was that bad lol I'm definitely getting a new laptop but I was just wondering if this one had any use. Thanks guys
If you're serious about dolphin, avoid laptops. A $700 desktop is perfect for dolphin, but a $2500 laptop may not be enough (and it will be to heavy and won't have enough battery life to use it as a laptop, it would be stuck on a desk, plugged in, meaning it has no advantages over an equivalent desktop).

No,this isn't true,we had laptop discussions in this forum, and I found and some other people $900 laptops they are more then fine for dolphin ( 3.3 ivy bridge and 650m gpu )
But off course you are going to get much much better desktop for same amount of money, but some people want the mobility
By the time SMG/The Last Story etc. are desired, it needs 4.2GHz of Ivy Bridge, and that needs an OC with good cooling. Only $2000 and upwards have this, but a $700 desktop build does. I said serious about dolphin, not serious about light games with HLE and EFB copies to texture.
