How the heck do you use patches for dolphin?

I have a couple of .patch files and don't know how to utilize them.

You have to build them into dolphin.

Download the sourccode of Dolphin through Git and patch the source trough Git. Then, build the source

Done.

Or ask some nice guys like @ED2 or @DefenderX to add your patches to one of their builds (if they got time)

They wouldn't do for me anyway, I was considering patching 2.0 5350 with ZTP hack, and I doubt they'd do that.
