No it will not. Why do you need the Toshiba stack? Just use MS and wiipair that is all you need.
When I tried the MS Stack it paired in windows but GlovePIE wouldn't recognize it as a wiimote plus and the mouse script didn't work. I had to install the Toshiba stack to make GlovePIE work. I haven't been able to try the MS Stack in Dolphin yet as I haven't got the right screwdriver to open and modify my sensor bar (it's in the post).
Ideally I'd like to be able to control the mouse with the wiimote and be able to launch dolphin with it. I've set GlovePIE to start my mouse script when it launches so I just need to permanently pair my wiimote to my PC and set GlovePIE to start when the computer boots. Hopefully the Wimote will then work as a mouse every time I start the PC and I'll be able to turn the wiimote on and off without pairing it each time.

i would definitely recommend
WiiMouse over GlovePIE. imho it's much more user friendly.

Thanks for that, I thought GlovePIE was considered the best and I didn't even know that one existed. It does games too! Sweet. I'm also looking for the best Resident Evil 5 control scheme (so it plays live the amazing RE4 on Wii) hopefully this will help out there too. Thanks for the recommendation, hopefully I'll be able to look into it and get it working later today. Thanks again, you're a massive help!
I think you will find wiiMouse works with MS BT.

you're welcome! i have zipped and attached my wiimouse-game-profiles. although i didnt specifically make one for RE5, you might use them as a basis. check out the ones for "Batman - Arkham Asylum", "Deus Ex - Human Revolution" and "Dead Space 2" (in that order). these are the ones i created last and are the most sophisticated. btw: i finished all these games on PC with the wiimote playing on my projector - that setup is a blast.

according to the programmer, it should also work with toshiba, although i haven't tried that. he has also integrated the permanent pairing process from WiiPair into WiiMouse (although this requires the MS-stack just as with WiiMouse.
on a sidenote: some time ago, the programmer of GlovePIE has stated
here, that he has found a way to achieve permanent pairing with the toshiba stack. but to my knowledge he has never released any final information or tool to this date.

Thank you very much. What an amazing help! I'll take a look at those profiles. I guess all I need for RE5 is a profile that does aiming with the wiimote and then it should be simple to map the other keys. Do any of those games do wiimote aiming like RE4/5? If so I'll just steal that section of the profile. Thanks.
Is there any resource for changing in-game displays of keys to match the wii controls? I saw one guy doing it for RE5 on a forum but the post was years old and the links were dead.
I also saw that info about GlovePIE and autopairing but it was posted after the latest version came out (0.45) so it isn't included in that release. I've looked for more info or a later GlovePIE build but I can't find it.
I think my issues are either down to me having a Wiimote Plus or having a 00 in my Bluetooth mac address. Hopefully your suggestions will resolve all this. Thanks again.

yes, in the 3d-games (like Batman, Deus Ex and Dead Space) aiming is done with the wiimote - with the motion plus to be exactly (i found that to be working much better than IR). other funny mappings are "stabbing" with the wiimote to shoot a grappling hook in Batman or a melee-attack in Deus Ex, or tilting the nunchuck downwards to crouch or run. you can take a look at my profiles to see how i did that, and then just change the rest to fit RE5's controls.
one further note: wiimouse recalibrates the motion plus automatically when getting layed down on the button side (much like with Wii games) and plays a sound after that. i would recommend doind that after loading a wiimouse profile. after that it also automatically recalibrates during usage, so a recalibration is only seldom necessary.

a Wiimote Plus shouldn't be a problem, since i too have one and permanent pairing is not a problem. BUT, i have a "old" (non-TR) version of the Wiimote Plus. afaik the golden skyward sword wiimote is also such an old model, so this should not be the problem with you. the new TR-ones may be a different case.
about the 00 in the MAC-address of the bluetooth-adapter: mine is an ASUS BT211 bluetooth dongle and it's MAC address starts with "00", but that doesn't make problems with parmanent pairing.

Sweet, I'm still waiting for my sensor bar screwdriver to arrive in the post so none IR aiming is great!

Thanks for the confirmation. All I need now is some time to remove my Toshiba Stack. Fingers crossed, this should work!
Have you every come across any info about changing the in-game display of keys to match the Wii controls?
Thanks again.

no, sorry. although it would indeed be cool, i doubt that this would be easily possible.

I saw some info on this and RE5 but I couldn't find it again for ages. I just found the link about it again
Resident Evil 5 Wii Edition. It's unfinished but he does state the in-game stuff is done. I might be going blind but I can't see any links to any work in progress files but the post is 2 years old. :-( I'm just hoping there is something out there that I haven't found yet.
