use "Direct 3D9". note that "Direct 3D11" might be faster on some hardware configs (DX11 on my computer is a lot faster than DX9 for SSBM).

OpenGL on Radeon video cards is awful slow. On nVidia cards, OpenGL is way faster. OpenGL drivers on Radeon vidcards is very bad implemented.
