You'd have to OC pretty high with LLE

i7 930 is a better option only if you do multithreaded tasks that is video editing and such. Also it's 3 years old now and its clock per clock performance has been surpassed by sandy bridge and left behind by ivy bridge. Go newest, benefit from bonus features as well as from a fluid dolphin experience(when OC'd that is).
