I'm very noob with this stuff, so, I opened it, now what should I do?

There are 2 options, build your own, just some ir LED's and resistors, or use 2 candles, youtube those options.

Also, after your 2nd one arrived you can do as I did, make one of top of the another amplifying the light source, and both run of the same usb.

And take a picture of it from a dark room, if possible pitch black dark, sometimes you wont be able to see the InfraRed if the there is too much light.

Also, can we have a photo of the other side of the circuit boards, as that will be the location of the problem if the issue is bad soldering.
None of the soldering looks like dry joints, so unless one of the IR LEDs is in backwards, I have no idea what the issue is.

Upon further inspection of the pictures, I can say that the LEDs are all in in the same direction, so that shouldn't be the issue. I'm stumped.

Asked a replacement from DX already, now just gotta wait a few more months...
