As noted in my signature, my processing speed is 4600+(2.4GHz).

What does the "+" mean? Does it mean it might be able to get higher clock speeds?
it means its K8 generation AMD processor and ultimately too weak for current gen emulators
That's obviously not the answer I was looking for, I know it's condition and given certain builds, PCSX2 and Dolphin has given me exceptional speeds.

I wasn't asking if my processor was compatible for the emulators, I was asking what does 4600+ mean.

But yeah, Athlon sucks.
Phenom 2?
Maybe.
But Athlon?

I almost bought a Phenom X4 that was 2.5 GHz but was told it would barely improve anything.

I still don't know why people are confusing my question. I'm not asking if Dolphin accepts my CPU, I'm merely asking what 4600 + means. Why is there a plus, that's what I'm asking.

To give the illusion that it is better than those that don't have a plus?

Rolleyes
Doesn't matter . Even Core i3/i5/i7 @ 2.4Ghz are slow
With small budget , you should buy Pentium Sandy Bridge G860 @ 3.0Ghz which is almost as fast as i3 2100
Btw , Core 2 duo /Core 2 Quad beat Phenom II .
