Hey I have been looking through forms and online wikis but cant find anything, so i have heard that Direct3dx is better than openGL. so I heard that you have to update direct x but i cant find how to update directx on a mac. can anyone help me get Direct3dx on dolphin?
Mac OS X doesn't support DirectX, only OpenGL.
If you want to use DirectX, use Windows via BootCamp.

Nope, no way on Mac OS X, Linux etc.

You are asking how to use something without using the same thing
Your best bet is installing bootcamp (like already suggested), on OSX you're bound to OpenGL.
