Aloha guys, my name is Tony. I'm looking for the perfect portable laptop i can find, and still be able to play dolphin on, as im going off to college. So i was thinking about getting a Macbook Air, I don't want to hear, how terrible apple is, I don't care, just by looking at the specs, can i run games like skyward sword or mario galaxy on this thing?
Macbook Air Mid 2012 Ivy 13"
2.0GHz dual core turbo boost to 3.2GHz
8GB Ram
Intel HD 4000
256GB SSD
Im not looking to run this thing at 1080p but, 480p is my goal. Can i do it?
I don't think that laptop can handle dolphin . Dolphin usually run much hotter than PC games , thin notebook like Macbook Air doesn't have much space for airflow

I was thinking the same thing. It's very portable and it can handle all games at 720p and almost all games at 1080p and the same with PS2 games(on PCSX2).Not to mention that Retina Display. Here's the link if you want to take a look at it.

It's even worse than normal MBP . 6 months later the thermal compound will die off if you play Dolphin too much
As usual , use "Realtemp" to test .
