I've noticed that with this new revs and sound stuff, some games have slowdown.
My brawl ran ~50fps but now it runs 15~20fps!!!
What's going on? I know you have a lot of work on dolphin's development but this is "destroying" some games (i have the same prob with melee and mkdd).

My specs:
Intel Dual Core T3200 2.00Ghz
4 GB RAM
NVIDIA 9300GS
watchdog issues. Who cares about speed. They're working on accuracy. No one is stopping you from using older revisions.
accuracy? if the games runs 5fps why do you wanna acuracy?
stfu and use previous revs Tongue
more compatible games. Besides, we all have wiis/gcs. Why even use dolphin? Because of the purpose of an emulator. I'd give up speed and be capped at 5fps than have one game work. Accuracy first. Then speed.
Rev 3645 works fine for me, as great FPS in Brawl as I've ever had, though a few revisions back it was just 20. It's just varies a bit I guess because of changes being done, though sometimes the speed can vary in the same revision after rebooting my computer. I notice sometimes after a Dolphin crash my Csrss.exe (the process that controls other processes I read) uses 10% CPU for a really long time afterwards, which decreases performance a lot.
Can i get a link to that build?
please check if the speed loss also was from 3400 till 3544.

if yes -> watchdog issue

if no -> probably the new swapbuffer method

if its a watchdog issues, thatsn because of the rather weak gpu. people with fast gpu wont notice it or get even more speed then before.

but we are currentyl working on that... nolan seems to be working on the bufferswap as well, so exspect some changes in next time.
There are two issues here, if we really want to avoid mistakes here, you guys should try Melee first.

The watchdog: Melee goes perfectly, Brawl gets slomo in low framerates (20-35. Also in custom maps, internal frameskip never applies, so slomo anyways)

The swapbuffer: Melee looks choppy (only half frames rendered), Brawl looks choppy (same here)

Some of you might be seeing the combination of high watchdog + bad swapbuffer in Brawl and that will mislead you in finding out the problem.
i've dump recently my wii os
my dolphin started to run slowy maybe it's because of that
anyaways in older revs brawl runs better than melee
