Getting an HP Envy 15 or a Lenovo Y580

Want to play Tales of Symphonia Dawn of New World full speed 1080p

Processor Choices:
i5-3210M Processor (2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.1 GHz)
i7-3610QM Processor (2.3 GHz, 6MB L3 Cache) +$100

GPU Choices:
7750m HP Envy
7690XT HP Envy
GTX660m Lenovo
All about the same prices..

Does it really matter at this point what processor or GPU I get? I think clockspeed is just what I need right?

Yes. The i7-3610QM has four cores, Dolphin uses three with LLE enabled. Clock speed is 2.3GHZ, the turbo goes up to 3.3GHz -> Get the i7.

As GPU, choose the one you like. They should all be able to handle 3x IR (1080p).
I would go with the 660M as the 7xxx series seems to have driver issues
