Which laptop did you choose at the end ?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215410

A few days after, they sold out on every site they were available on (Newegg, Amazon, etc.).

BTW what is a good program to check temps on laptops?

I told you it's better choice through more expensive !
Just use msi afterburner to check gpu temps and coretemp or realtemp for cpu temp.
Atleast thats what I use for desktop,I think same programs should work for laptop
Well I used CPUID and my temps got up to 90 degrees (Celcius) at one point but it floated around 80 for the most part. I did have firefox open so idk if that made a difference.
Good god that's way too hot.
Guess I'll be getting a notebook cooler ASAP.

BTW I read that when temps get high, thermal throttling comes into play but my system never seemed to slow down (well enough) to bring speeds below 100%.

Waste money
Even the best / the most expensive one can only make 1-5C degree difference
That's why i only recommend gaming laptop for dolphin
