That card should be enough for most things maxed out or nearly maxed out and very good framerates.
Anyway, AMD do know what they're doing as far as GPUs. It's only CPUs that they don't have a clue for, hence why the CPU is the limiting factor here. They're fine for PC games, just not emulation, as that actually uses the CPU.

You're not going to be able to attain 60 fps with any graphics card at 8xSSAA at 1080p on max settings with ENB. If you are getting a playable framerate then that means it's not working.

1080p with FXAA looks perfect to me.
Why would you need more?
Without derailing too far, I use SMAA because it is by far the greatest bang for the buck so to speak. I wish someone would make an injector that utilizes the new 4 pass SMAA since Mr. Haandi doesn't have time anymore or whatever. And my comment was mostly tongue in cheek anyways, by the time I will be able to afford a new GPU, they will be able to run Skyrim at those settings lol. I tried to use the SMAA injector with Dolphin since it uses DX9 but it didn't take.

I don't like SMAA personally. It oversharpens and creates sharpening artifacts sometimes.
You must have done something wrong, I have no problem using SMAA with dolphins d3d9 backend.

because jaggies really suck
I understand that more than most but if it's going to drop your framerate substantially I think I'd prefer to keep the high framerate with 4xSSAA or MSAA + TRSSAA instead.
