Yes, some NTSC games natively run at 30 FPS instead of 60 (Skies of Arcadia, Super Mario Sunshine). To a lesser extent some games may temporarily drop the FPS in certain areas (Tales of Symphonia's overworld fields, Title Screen on Wind Waker I think) but during other parts of game play they can go back up to 60.

(06-10-2012, 02:32 AM)delroth Wrote: [ -> ]I was using Dolphin with the FOSS Radeon drivers on an HD6770 until very recently. I did not have issues with anything except anti-aliasing. Performance is obviously not as good as what the proprietary drivers provide, but I was still able to manage IRx2 on GC games like Baten Kaitos.

How much fps do you think i would get for example in wind waker? I have hd5770 and phenom II x6

You'll be able to run it at IRx1 without any problems, probably IRx2 too.

What is IRx1 and IRx2 ??
Internal Resolution, basically the resolution at which the game is rendered. IRx1 is the native resolution of the Gamecube, IRx2 is two times that resolution (so four times more pixels rendered). Increasing IR makes the games nicer to look at.
