I think my PC is pretty decent for dolphin, because I can run other PC games very well.
I know that it is not the same but still?
I really want to play Pandoras tower and Aragorns ring
I mean really, really, bad...especially Ptower for it is resembles to Castlevania (in my opinion) and I love castlevania
Anyway, I'll post my PC specifications again and the settings...if you tell me to change something I'll appreciate that you will tell me what it its and what it does...
I'm absolutely sure that there is a solution for this, I mean, look at my new PC. Pretty decent for dolphin CPU-heavy games don't you think?:
intel i5 3550 3.30GHZ
4GBRAM
WIN 7 32X
GEFORCE GTX 560 SUPERCLOCKED
600W PSU
Maybe I should update my ram memory(only for dolphin for other stuff its pretty good I think..)
Should I try dx9 or 11
or maybe opengl
I just play with them but if anyone has advice it will be most welcome
(Just no sarcasm please I know its tough, but I really hate that in gaming forums which is quite common as I can see, i just have a really complex problem with it really)..
thanks.

Anti-aliasing increases the resolution of the edges of objects.
Anisotropic filtering does something with textures, not sure.
In most cases PC games require a decent CPU and monster GPU.
Dolphin requires a monster CPU (Which you have.) and an average GPU.
RAM is irrelevant for dolphin once you have 2gbs or more.
Directx9 is the fastest video mode for dolphin.
Opengl is the most accurate and slowest.
Directx11 is the median, neither most accurate or least accurate, or slowest or fastest.
I have Aspergers (for real.)
Doesn't mean I can't take a minute to explain what problem I'm having.
AA and AF are initialisms for Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering. They're graphical enhancements. Look them up on Wikipedia if you want to know what they do and how they work. Also, it still doesn't matter if you can play PC games on high settings, emulators and PC games are two different programs that use computer resources in different ways, so their demands on hardware aren't exactly comparable.
RAM has a negligible effect on Dolphin performance. Upgrading that won't help you too much, not as much as overclocking your CPU would. Don't think you can
really OC your i5-3550, but it should do fine @ stock + Tubro Boost, for most games. Heavy games will be trouble, however, as you've been told already in this thread.
Also, if you want speed, stick with DX9 for Dolphin. Lastly, try Starscream's
speed settings. If you still can't get proper speeds (not necessarily fullspeed, just an enjoyable speed) then you're probably playing games that are too demanding for your hardware. Try the link and see how it plays.
in tirectx9 i dont know why but my controlers dont work...version 3
+
ive formated my pc and updated all the hardwere
amm my cpu is one of the best there isout there
(i7 is very sinmler if not the same to i5,for gaming, and i cant overclock my cpu (and thats not the issue)
the other 2 i5 cores that are better than mine are overclocingable(at least the lab man in the computer store told mre all of that...)
does anyone succed in playing aragorns quest in dolphin?
if so
which verion and what settings?
cause u have trying all kind of veraities of versioon and settings.....
again
baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
tried now to use the lowest settings and still 17 fps at MAX....very very slow
i really think that my pc is good enough (even preety good) dont you?
so there is must be something im doing worng
all harwdare updated...
thats a bummer!!!!!!
I can't really help you with aragon's quest since I dont have the game
But I do have pandoras tower.
You still have not explained what exactly is the problem with it ?
It should run maximum speed on your hardware
